Y.N.M. | Trilogy Rosehip Oil

A few years ago, the inner parts of my cheeks became red which made me look like I got sun burned.  Since then I’ve trying to find something to try to either calm it down or get rid of it.

One day on a whim, I thought I’d try applying some oil that has rosehip oil in it, and was surprised that it actually calmed the redness a bit.  Thrilled that the oil helped, I looked for other types of face oils that contains rosehip oil.

After finding ones that wouldn’t really work on me (since the ones I found had ingredients I didn’t want on my skin), I then thought it might be better if I just used some pure rosehip oil instead.  I figured my skin would be more cooperative if I used products with fewer ingredients in it, so that it won’t end up getting itchy and irritated.

With this in mind, I eventually found one from trilogy that with any luck will give me the results I’m looking for.

I’ll talk about the results once I get my hands on it, and tried it out for (at least) a couple weeks.

Do you use rose hip oil?

Out & About | Outfit 64

Perfect for when I'm feeling girly, but don't feel like wearing a skirt or dress (or when I hit the snooze button more than once, and don't have enough time to shave my legs).

cl&s turns one!

cl&s turns one today!

After watching so many videos on YouTube, and reading countless blogs, I started to consider doing one or the other.

The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to do it.  At first, I thought I might go the YouTube route, but considering the poor internet connection I have, and how long it would take to actually be able to upload them on YouTube, and all that jazz, that idea was thrown out the window.  So then I figured why not start my own blog.

In the beginning, I kept putting it off since I wasn't really sure what I’d even talk about, but then I figured I’d just write whatever was on my mind and go from there.  I thought it would be easy, but it was still a bit difficult since I still didn't know what my blog would be mainly be about.  Would it be about beauty and fashion, or mix of cooking and lifestyle?  In the end I figured I’d just go with my gut and just incorporate it all.

After figuring that out, the only thing that stopped me from uploading more than one or two posts a month, was putting pressure on myself, and not having the confidence to just share whatever was on my mind.

At one point I considered deleting my blog, but then I stared to find that doing research about the things I might post on it was actually relaxing, and blogging became something I actually enjoy doing.

What also kept me going was seeing that people were actually reading my post, and hoping that they found it interesting or helpful in some way.

Thank you again for your time and for helping me want to continue blogging.

After being sick for a week, there's nothing like having the weather cooperate & being able to go out without wearing a bunch of layers (or an umbrella).

A little blue dress is perfect for those times I (somehow) feel like giving my LBDs a break.

Is there a color that you'd pick over a LBD?
