Yes. No. Maybe | Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palettes

Hello! I'm Angela, & I'm addicted to eyeshadows.  Whether they come in a pan, pot, tube, or stick, I'll happily give them a go. Needless to say, I was intrigued when I heard about Natasha Denona's palettes, and did "some" research on them.  After watching a numerous videos, and reading reviews, I can confidently say that I'm not missing out on anything by not getting either of the palettes for the following reasons.

First off, I didn't find the swatches very impressive, and I've seen quite a few of them.  Sure they're pretty, but I just didn't get excited about them when I watched them being swatched.  The metallic, and shimmery shades looked nice, but I can get a similar result by using fix plus, or eyedrops with other eyeshadows.  Sure it's an extra step, but at least I won't need to spend a lot to get a similar look.

Secondly, the ingredients dosen't justify the steep price.  If a product containing a bunch of parabens isn't a concern for you, I'd say stick with one that's more wallet friendly. Sadly, these palettes do contain parabens, and cost $239 (usd and not including tax).  Personally, I can't see how the ingredients would make these palettes high end.

Last but not least, the limited amount of matte shadows in these palettes doesn't make them complete.  Considering how much these cost, there shouldn't be a need to use another palette to complete a look.  I would personally find these a pain to work with when I'm doing someones makeup.  It would be different if I was only doing my own, but when it's someone else,  I don't want to have to take out a bunch of other ones to get the job done.

I don't know if I'm just hard to please, but I just don't feel like these palettes are worth getting.  If I bought these before doing my research, I would not hesitate about returning them.

Did you get one or both these palettes?  What do you think about it/them?

Links for the palettes can be found in my N.F.M board.

 P.S.

Sorry for not being very active on my blog lately.  Life happened, and I had to put posting on the back burner for a while.  Fortunately, things are better now, & I can post more regularly.

I've been active on instagram lately, so if you'd like, you can follow and connect with me there. I reply back to all (appropriate) comments.

As always, thanks for reading!
